King Abdulaziz Road – a commercial zone with high-speed traffic, to the leisure
district on the West, where a lot of Jeddah hotels are located.
Based on the
Saudi Vision 2030, the program is diversified to include leisure, entertainment
as well as educational, medical, residential, and commercial components. The
project aims to create a sustainable and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood.
Green open areas account for 63% of the site, as opposed to the 35% required by
city zoning. Open areas are connected through a pedestrian path, linking both
ends of the neighborhood.
